Not if he doesn't start to dish out some asst.
He's at 1.9M this year....2.6M and 3.5M for the next 2 years....does he have a shot for 50 this year? Anyone saw him play this year? How does it sounds for him in Minny?

I think 50 points this year would be a stretch. I haven't seen any Minnesota games so I don't know if he does not pass much or very well. And if he does make good passes he needs his linemates to score more for him to reach 50.
Good news. He's on pace for more shots than he had last year. Bad news, he's got a shooting % over 20% right now. Which means he's probably *not* gonna score as many goals as you think he might.
But...more good news, he had a fair amount of assists last year, so it's not like he has a history of not being a passer. But more bad news, for those who count hits...he's not hitting as much this year.
But to answer yor question, I think he has a shot at 50. If he does, though, he'll probably end up being somewhere around 25-25 ratio for goals/assists, as opposed to the 39-11 rate that he's on right now.

50 this year I don't see. Future years maybe. I see him being a consistent 40 pt guy with potential for 50-60. At his salary he's s good value even if you just use the 10 pt per mil ratio hes at least decent
50's a stretch this season. Not with that ice time.
I would guess next season.
I think he's still a good buy though.
Only 1.9M this year - he might not get a lot of points, but the points he does get are goals so your G/$$ ratio will be nice.
