Default Turris worth keeping in a salary cap league?

First of all, it's a great idea for sub-forum! I'm in a salary cap league using actual salaries and it changes the dynamic when it comes to trades....

For Turris, he has a salary of 3.5, 3.5, 4 and 4M for the next 4 years....I think he had a great year last year but I'm starting to doubt he can repeat those numbers.....

Should I start to sell high on him or keep him?

    Thoughts?

I think he is good value in a cap league. These days $4 isn't much at all.

With the cap going up in the next couple years, players of similiar fantasy output to him will probably be paid more. In other words he's decent value.

If you trade now you're not selling high. I think he's solid value. I would be open to tossing his name around in trade talks but he is not hurting your team.

    1) The kid's only 25. It's not like he's on the downside of his career now.
    2) He's actually been pretty consistent this year, having gone no more than 3 games without a point. Sure, he's not on the pace that he was last year, but it's not like he's *that* far off either.
    3) His shot rate is pretty consistenet with last year...he's on pace to fall *just* short of 200 shots, and he had *just* over 200 shots last year. His shooting % is quite low this year which is probably another reason that he hasn't scored as much too.
    4) $3.5 mil is *really* good value for a kid like this. Lemme put it this way...he's providing you better than $3.5 mil *right now*. He's more likely, imo, to do better opposed to worse, so if he does better, he'll be providing that much better.

Overall, if anything, I'd say that Turris is more of a buy now player than a sell now player right now.

This. Is he going to be that superstar 80+ pt guy? Probably not but around 4 mil , if he gets you 50+ which he certainly can he's a solid value
