    Folks,

    I heard from several sources the he will get every chance to crack the Wild\'s lineup this year.

    2 part question;

    1-Do you think he has a chance?

    2-If he does, is he worth while taking a flyer in a fantasy squad?

    Cheers,

    Blue.

    Sounds like he\'ll get a chance, but might not produce much to begin with. Even if he takes the sweet spot centering Demitra nd Gaborik, how long before one or both gets injured?

    Might be good as a bench guy on your roster, but not someone to count on just yet.

    Thanks for the thoughts.

    However, if he lands the centerjo b between Gaborik & Demitra (certified band-aid boys...), I think he may be worth a middle-late pick in a draft.

    I think Miko Koivu should get that #1 center spot.

    I think the Wild just want to see what he can bring to the table, and what better way to show that then to skate with the two best forwards on the team(Gaborik and Demitra).

    The future for him is up in the air \'so to say\' but for right now I don\'t think I could make a roster spot for him.
    Come the first game of the regular season James Sheppard with definately not be the starting center. And that is a guarantee.
