I'm having a strange issue with my internet today.
Posting this in the odd-case where somebody can offer a solution.
Background.
On Wednesday I left the office for the long US-weekend.
I leave my computer programs open because I lose time when re-booting or re-opening programs... and I'm able to know where I left off.
My boss even had me take down our anti-virus (Norton) "Smart Firewall" to see if I could "remote access" my work computer from home.
(I didn't do this. I don't mix work & home! )
Anyways, I come in today (Monday).
I have 3-4 Mozilla Firefox browsers open when I'm on the site:
1) Dobber Forums (here, obviously)
2) ESPN
3) A couple other hockey websites
OK, and for-whatever-reason, when I'm mouse scrolling on the forums, I keep getting defaulted onto a site called:
carsmenu.com
(black screen with some crappy orange text options... barebones re-direct webpage... I've seen these before when I've had malware crap on my home computer)
It's happened like 10-15 times today.
Only from this site.
I have to click "back" to get back to the forums site.
Anybody know why this might happen?
Did I pick up some malware over the weekend (or this morning) with the firewall off?
