    yeah...didnt really make sense to me when they acquired purcell and pouliot to fill some top6 winger minutes.

    edmonton will be lucky to get a decent draft pick for him given how little leverage they have

    Wouldn't be surprised at all if the Pens made a play for him. Obviously not going to trade a top C for him, but they might wait until the Oilers brass regains sanity or is canned and the price comes down to reality.

    I know I have said this a few times but the Oilers do not need more D prospects. They have lots of good young D in the development process already so they do not need more D prospects. What the Oilers need is depth down the middle. They need actual NHL quality centers and this is what they are shopping Perron for.
