Could go eihter way on this but Assuming Byfuglien has D eligibility I take Team B.
B will see a net gain in :
G, SHots,
B sees a net loss in:
A, PPP
GWG and +/- are too random to have a net gain/loss per week.
Team A receives: J. Thornton, K. Shattenkirk
Team B receives: D. Byfuglien, P. Sharp
One year standard league; Cats are: G, A, +/-, PPP, GWG, Shots. H2H weekly matchups, 12 team league. 24man basic rosters.
Note: Neither team really needs any particular stat or positional boosts/additions. Trade is solely on a roster movemet/refresh.
What do you think? Thanks

Daily Starts: 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 5D, 2G
G,A,+/-,PPP, SHP, SOG, HIT, BLK
W, GAA, SV, SV%, SHO
C: Tavares, Malkin, Johansen, Couture
LW: Schenn (C), Kreider, Skinner, Kane
RW: [B]Kucherov, Seguin (C), Wheeler, REinhart (C), Ehlers (LW)
D: Byfuglien, Provorov, Giordano, de Haan, Phaneuf
G: Bobrovsky, Lehner, Saros
2017 Picks: 1,2,3,5,6,6,7,8,9,10,11
Given those stat categories I would take side A.
For one year leagues, Thornton > Sharp (with the injury) and Shatty > Buf so I think team A makes one like a banshee.
In a 10 league where we start 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D and 2 G daily. It is a H2H league - we keep 3 players (1 G max), are allowed a max of 2 keeps for each player. The number in brackets is the number of keeps I have left:
G, A, +/-, PIMs, PPG, PPA and Shots.
C - Larkin, Couturier, Kopitar, Cirelli
LW - OV, Panarin (1), Schenn (C), Ehlers (RW), Kreider
RW - Kucherov (0), Seguin (C), Palmieri, Voracek, Yamamoto
D - Yandle, DeAngelo
W, GAA, SV% and Saves.
G - Rask, Varlamov, Hart, Mrazek
IR+ - Tarasenko
Respectful opinion. I don't disagree completely, however; there are still about 20 weeks to ago, sharp only misses another 2. when he comes back, does his value then trump thorntons? Also, with byfuglien playing top line right now, with E Kane; does his value pick up beyond shatty, if his production picks up?
I like Team B here. Buf RW,D eligibility makes him valuable. P.Sharp and Joe are very close. P.Sharp will fire a ton of shots and likely score more goals, pt totals should be close. Though i think P.sharp benefits from being used in more offensive starts. I agree GWG and +/- too random to value.
