Trade involving Perry/Hornqvist

Team A aquires: Perry, Jake Allen, Nielsen
Team B aquires: Hornqvist, Palat, Jeff Carter

Note: Team B has Elliot, acquiring Allen would be the handcuff in G.

Cats are G, A, +/-, PPP, Shots, GWG. traditional single year league. 12 teams in the league. Head to head weekly matchups. And team A is trading those players to team B, and vice versa. How does the trade look? Fair? Unfair?

I'll take the players Team A is getting by a healthy margin.

Perry is by far and away the best player in this deal. A legit stud.
Jake Allen is a very solid backup on a capable team, having the handcuff makes him all the more valuable.
Nielsen I don't trust, off to a hot start on a offensive team- he's a wash with Palat in my opinion.

Hornqvist is a good player in a great situation but he will cool down.
Jeff Carter I don't trust either, a solid player who got a red hot start but has cooled off a bunch since. I never trust scorers in LA.

SO:
Perry >>>> Carter
Allen = Hornqvist hard to say for sure without goalie stats
Palat = Nielsen- nothing turns on this part.

It's fair. I am guessing Allen is dispensable for team B and he is looking for more offense which he is getting even though Perry is the best player in the deal. Hornqvist is a shooting machine. Carter subtly wins gms leagues. I don't see an issue here at all. Two teams trading to meet different needs - whether folks think the trade is fair or not is irrelevant.
