Pitkanen is a great talent. He was on the verge of stardom 3 years ago. Carolina could be just what he needed especially with Corvo there. I think he could easily get 50-60 points, and be a plus player.
He has a new start with a new team...
How many points will he get?
How will his plus/minus be?
How many games will he miss due to injury?

The Canes have a pretty weak D right now, I see Pitkanen getting 24-25 minutes a game. 45 pts in 70-75 games seems reasonable to me.

I\'d say 40-45 points is a conservative prediction. Interesting to see how they handle him and Corvo.
I dunno know - his best year he kinda lived off Foppa and Gagne but perhaps he was good enough - how do you know when he can\'t make it through a season in the past few? Book him for the range that Angus gave you and anything else is a bonus, is how I would evaluate him for now.
Agree with the previous comments on 40-45 points. I see Pitkanen regularly manning the point on the no#2 PP unit while Corvo is on the no#1 unit.
On occasion they\'ll share time together but both need a strong defensive partner to carry the load.
Nice observation on Pitkanen while in Philly. Gagne and Forsberg really lit it up that year and Pitkanen benefitted. Kim Johnsson was on the same team and was great in Philly but in Minny....\"Wha\' Happened!?\"

I\'m putting him at 45 points this year with the potential of 50 or even 60. His 46 points in 58 games in 2005-06 show he has the potential. It\'s just a matter of his work ethic and him being healthy.
I\'m with the consensus here as well...40-45 with upside.
Remember this, CAR has a history of being able to resurrect careers. I think this is a best-case scenario for Pitkanen owners [barring injury].

I hope Pitkanen plays on the #1 PP with Corvo and get a good amount of Ice Time.Im not to sure about his +/- I hope it is atleast +20 if he has a good year. For his points I think around 45-55. I just got him in a trade so Im hoping he has a good strong turn around year.I think CAR will do good for him. I was hoping DET would get him but oh well we got Hossa:P. If you were woundering about my trade I\'ll post it.
