Palat vs Kucherov

In a 10 team weekly H2H. Points for G A +/_ SOG PPP HITS PIMS. I currently own Palat but Kucherov is on the Waiver. Who would be more beneficial for my team?

The rest of me team include:Backes, Gaborik, Backstrom,Neal, Palat, Lehtera, Simmonds, Ovechkin, Phaneuf, Gudas. Goalies are Quick, Rinne, Holtby

I prefer Palat

I prefer Kucherov. It'll be close though as I see those two playing in similar situations (same EV line, 2nd PP unit). Kucherov has more offensive talent so I see him putting slightly better numbers. Last game when Johnson went down, Kucherov was moved on a line with Stamkos and Drouin. Yeah, I know one game but I think it's indicative of what Cooper has in mind for Kucherov.

I think kucherov is the one i try to acquire out of the two and Palat is the one I trade if I have him but as others have said I think both end up producing the same level this season

If either is a safe pick... It would be Palat. But me thinks the biggest bang could be kucherov, even this year.

lol thanks for all the replies. I have a similar thread open for "Rate My Team". Based on my team: Backstrom, Backes, Gaborik, Neal, Ovechkin, Palat, Simmonds, Gudas, Boychuk, Phaneuf would you drop any of them including a D (it would mean i play with less D) for Kucherov?
