Rask for Carter and Byfuglien?

I have the possibility of acquiring Rask for Carter and Byfuglien for the team and league in my sig. Posting here because most likely none of the players will be keepers.

On paper, this seems like an obvious no-brainer, but I'm worried Rask won't turn it around and will remain aggressively average, as he has been this season. Was his goaltending boosted by Boychuk and Chara? Probably. But I would still expect better numbers from a top-ranked goalie.

If I go through with this deal, I could also potentially deal Schneider for Yandle.

I would also be able to activate Stepan from IR.

Making this net trade:

I lose: Schneider, Carter, Byfuglien
I gain: Rask, Yandle, Stepan (from IR)

I would take that deal. Buff loses some value as your league doesn't count Hits or PIM.

Do it - an elite starter carries way more value and if Fask was playing well you wouldn't even think twice and when you consider how banged up Boston's d is I think he gets better as the season goes on

Oh yeah do that for sure, when the Bruins are healthy and playing well again Rask will rebound

Next phase...do I move a goalie? Should I go for Yandle, or try to get something more? Which goalie should I move?

I wouldn't deal Schneider for Yandle, it feels like a sell low. He hasn't been good to start, but I think he turns it around. Personally I think I'd try to hold off a week or two and see how Schneider/Andersen play. Then dangle them and see if anyone bites.
