My Hall/JVR for his Buff/Kesler/Bishop *REP*

I've just received this offer, what do you guys think? This could be a big move for me as I'm currently sitting in 2nd place in my league and chasing down 1st place. Please keep in mind that if I do accept this trade, I will have to make 2 drops off my roster, as Hall is currently in my IR slot.

I'd say no.

I generally don't play in points leagues, but it looks to me that goalies won't get a ton of points. A 2 goal against, 30 SV win only nets you 5 points by my calculation (correct me if I'm wrong).

Buff/Kesler is a downgrade from Hall/JVR, and you would have to drop 2 additional players. I don't like this trade for you.

I would be nice to get Bishop. I'm not sure if you need him though with Holtby and Howard. It's hard to give up Hall, even an injured Hall. JVR is solid as well. I don't think that I would do it.

This is a goal-heavy league (3 pts for a goal), so Hall and JVR have the most value. Bishop is a nice add, but not necessary for you with Holtby and Howard. I don't think you want to carry three goalies in this league. I also don't see much value in Kesler and Byfuglien is having a bit of a down year so far.

I'd stick with what you've got.

I agree, initially I thought this was a steal, but looking at your settings, goalies are basically useless

Based on your settings and having watched Hall and JVR produce on my own roster for the past 3 years... I say don't be blinded by Bishop. The team with JVR/Hall wins IMO.
