Default Strategy - Two Moves All year

I am looking for some strategy advice.

I am in a points only pool where I have two moves all year. I am currently in first place by two points and am wondering what to do. There are some good/decent free agents that could be in for very productive seasons.

Should I burn a move this early in the season or be patient and assume injuries are going to happen and that I'll need to replace someone eventaully.

My team is in the sig.

    I have Elias/Desharnais/Trouba/Boychuk that I'd consider moving.

Some FA's are Lehtera, Foligno, Tlusty, Hudler, Dubinsky,

If you believe in Lehtera ( and Tarasenko/Blues/Hitch...) then dropping Elias for him is a good move. That is a homerun swing.

The earlier you make your change the greater the impact it has on final result. Not sure about dropping Elias though. He has a knack for putting up good point totals consistently.

...the reason I haven't given up on Elias yet. Do you think a move would be worth it, or more of a lateral move when it's all said and done. I realize your guess is as good as mine...just wondering !

I do follow the blues and was excited to see Lehtera this year, but I figured he'd be somewhat buried behin Backes/Oshie/Stastny/Steen.
Could be too early for a homerun swing?

I'd be cautious. I feel that they are leaning on Tank and Lehtera primarily due to the injuries to Oshie and Statsny. Once they are back and the top is rolling again, you may see a dip in the young guns stats.

I don't see enough benefit in burning a move for this swap. I would wait for a major injury or something to make moves.

With two moves only you should definitely save them for if you run into injuries. Also the FAs available are not worth you using a move on them at this point anyways.

Thanks for your insight everyone! Rep'd the lot of ya.

I'm standing pat, going to wait for injuries. I agree that when the others in St. Louis get going, that Lehtera's production will slow. That, and he hasn't played an 82 game season before.

    Thanks again everyone!

Injuries WILL happen, they always do. Wait until then to use your moves or you might be shorthanded in the end.
