Default Trade Blues 2nd line for a superstar?

So I have Tank, Schwartz, and Lehtera and I bet I can flip all three for Perry or Ovie...do it or stick with the massive production I get from all three Blues guys? I'm always looking to sell high but these guys are not slowing down! Thanks for your input!

Would like to know FA options, but absolutely yes. Condensing production into one roster spot is key

Some guys I'll probably be looking to pickup would be E. Lindholm, M. Johansson, and Vermette. So basically would a Perry or Ovie, plus two of those three wire options, be a better bet than the Blues second line?

In a keeper league, 100% yes. But i'd go for a younger stud like Giroux or somehow Tavares.

I already have Tavares actually, and this is a 1 year league...but i do see more value in a Giroux, or maybe I can pull off a deal for Crosby. At this point I'm ranking them Crosby, Ovie, Giroux, Perry...I'll try to see if i can pull it off. But just to be clear, sending all three of the Blues hot hand is a good idea right? I just have this voice in my head that keeps telling me i will regret trading away Tank.

How many player do you start ?

That's a big component to the trade. If you start 4C 4LW 4RW, I think you'd be better off keeping that Blues line.

These are our league specs...C(2) LW(2) RW(2) D(4) UTL(3) G(2) B(10) IR(3)...take out bench and IR and those are the starters.

Sidenote: I'd take a hard look at switching out Monahan for Vermette

Can you not package 2 instead of 3? I think Tank and Lehtera are the bigger 2 names, so you could keep Schwartz, which is fine with me.
I think Schwartz will actually provide the most consistent production of all 3, even though Tank obviously a huge ceiling.

Your FA options aren't that good.
I wouldn't do the 3 for Ovie, but I would do it for Crosby only.

In a one year league, I would ride the wave. Definitely would not do a three for one in a one year league without better options on the WW. I would be keen on adding Marcus Johansson though. I have a feeling he has a good year. I have no faith that Monahan or Vermette will be good fantasy options this year.

Hmmm. INteresting. If you can make it happen...sure. But as a Perry owner and former Ovie owner, not a chance I give either up for that group. But best of luck to ya!

1yrs are a lot different than keepers, and it makes the breakouts more valuable. Last yr steen was a top 30, and Stamkos was a top 100. Ya OEL is a great player in a keeper, but this yr he’s sucked and have dropped him in 1yrs. I’d say trade Schwartz+Lehtera for someone, or Lehtera+Tarasenko. When Statsny is back soon, Lehtera has a lot less value.

OEL is on pace for 306 shots and 44 points, while his shooting % is half his career average. I don't think that qualifies as "sucking"

In our league he’s ranked 200ish. If SOG counted I’m sure it would be different. But it was more of an example. Crazy things happen in 1yrs. I didn’t drop tho, I picked him up. But I’m use to keepers, so I’m banking a lot of value on future production when I shouldn’t be
