Default HIS Wheeler and Howard for MY Nuge and Halak

These guys are borderline keepers (goalies are at a premium in this league).

I won last year, so I had to trade draft picks and my team is not as good this year. I'm in second right now and the lead isn't insurmountable (mine on third and his in first as well).

Wheeler and Nuge should be close this year but I have a feeling Nuge will surpass him starting next year. Howard is better than Halak right now and his job is more secure. I usually go for the win and worry about the future later.

Stats and team in the signature.

    Would you do it?

Not sure why my signature doesn't work, so here it is:

    Wheeler/Howard for me.
Wheeler is a very steady player in points only or multi-cat.

Yes... there is a chance that RNH blossoms to a 80pt player and Wheeler stays at 65-70.
For now and next year I prefer Wheeler.
And I still think DET & Howard are much stronger than NYI.

I like this trade. Wheeler is proven to be a 70 point player even though his start has been a bit slow this year. I like him going forward over Nuge. Det and NYI will be fighting out for one of the last playoff spots in the East. I think NYI gives up more shots than Det padding Halak's stats in this particular league. Everything else being equal. Both goalies have has their injury problems in the past. So I believe that is a wash. Slight edge to Halak and Wheeler is great than Nuge for the next year or two.

    Go for it.
Ovie, Backstrom, Granlund(MIN), Wheeler, Zibanejad, Schenn (STL), Wennberg, Pacioretty Atkinson, Miller (NYR), Namestnikov (EDM), Mantha, Werenski, Beaulieu, Theodore, Montour, Forsling, Talbot, Bishop
