A GM is eyeing my Ovi, and under normal circumstances, it would be a no go...but
His offer: Toews, Parise, Looch and Price for my Ovi, Barrie(D) and Holtby
Thinking of changing it to his Parise to Kunitz or his Looch to Voracek
This would pile my nets to Niemi Price and Fleury
My offence would then look like this:

Let's look at this logically
Holtby < Price
Ovechkin > Toews & ( for arguments sake ) Lucic (but close because Looch racks up the PIM & hits)
Barrie < Parise (especially if you don't need to count a certain # of defensemen)
This should definitely work out in your favour as it is.

I’d do the deal, I like having Price on my team over Holtby. It also spreads a bit of production out, and helps you Pims. Also Price has the higher chance to get SO than Holtby and that category can literally win you a season just because SHO are so rare.

You have heavy goalie cats, I like the trade for you. I think Ovi is the best player in the deal but Lucic will make up for the lost Hits and Parise will make up for the shots when he returns. Meanwhile your putting a stranglehold on goalies. Although in a 10 person team I am sure there is a ton of potential on the WW

While OV is the best player in this deal I think the upgrade you get in net with Price and the offense and peripherals you get from Toews, Looch & Parise make this a win for you. The only issue is how long Parise is out but I'm sure you can replace him for now and not suffer a huge downgrade in production from what you are working with now, and once he comes back the scale tips clearly in your favor.
