Default What to do with Tanner Pearson?

Pearson is occupying valuable roster space in my H2H league below. Since he has put up 6 zero-point games in a row I've got to think his trade value is negligible at this point. On the other hand, I feel bad about cutting him to the WW - is Pearson droppable in a 12-team one-year league?

I'd like to pick up Wilson today before anyone else notices him, so I need to make a drop soon. Alternatives to cut would be Burakovsky (but he gets me a few FOW and is back on 2nd line tonight) or Kucherov (but he seems to still be producing). I'm sure Zajac sticks out as an obvious drop too but I am weak up the middle and need someone to give me FOW while Dubinsky is on the IR.

I'm open to any other suggestions as well, including to forget about Wilson.

It's about a week too late to try to sell on Pearson.
    Two Options:
    1. Drop Pearson and hope to scoop him up before others when the time comes.
    2. Ride out the slump until another hot streak. His line makes it possible.

For me, I'd just drop him. That roster spot can produce more consistent value spent elsewhere. Just my opinion.

If I owned Pearson, I'd hang onto him. He has no trade value right now, but he could go on a run again later in the season. At that point I'd look to move him.

I'd also consider dropping him to the waiver wire, if there were decent options available. I'm pretty high on Wilson, so I'd certainly consider that move now. However, I wonder why you have Polak on your roster. Is that a mistake? If not, he is a very obvious drop instead of Pearson.

Haha, oh right, I forgot about him. I had severe IR issues when the season first started so I had to cut some D to pickup forwards, options were limited when I was ready to grab another D.

Polak has 53 Hits (4th overall) and 35 Blks (5th overall) on the season with a few SOG and PIM all while maintaining a positive +/-. I think he is a pretty good Hit/Blk option but of course offers almost no offence. He is certainly droppable but I would need to replace his blocks this week so I'd rather keep him and save the move.

Up to you, I suppose. That's a tough call considering you are essentially using up a roster spot for two of your 11 skater categories. That said, without looking at the HITs and Blocks your other players provide, perhaps you desperately need to have Polak on your roster to give you a chance at those two cats.

Good point, I'll have to think about that. Would you run with just 5D then (we start 6)? Looking at the scoreboard, cutting Polak would leave me in about the middle of the pack for blocks but still pretty competitive for hits.

Oh, I didn't know you started 6 dmen. I would not drop Polak then. Better to have someone filling that spot.

It looks like you may have no choice but to drop Pearson for Wilson.

So just to clarify, the consensus is that Burakovsky/Kucherov > Pearson?

    Kucherov maybe, not Burakovsky.

Might be better to hold onto him until he rides another hot streak and then try to sell high, but thats such a shot in the dark
I was lucky enough to trade Pearson a few days ago, albeit he was a small part in a deal for Yandle
Dropping Pearson for Kucherov would be an okay move in my books, though not entirely necessary

I actually own all three of Pearson, Burakovsky and Kucherov. Trying to decide which, if any, to drop for Wilson.
