as I said in the other thread, that TSN story still uses the same source as all the other stories, so it doesn\'t serve as a confirmation, just a repetition.

There\'s talk that he signed the contract before the agreement between the NHL and KHL yesterday... will that play a factor in this at all, the timing? Or, is it redundant?

    I\'m pretty sold on it...

What are they going to do?

There is no transfer agreement between the leagues. This has Malkins situation written all over it when he came to the NHL.

If one league doesn\'t acknowledge the other leagues contracts the NHL is shit out of luck

Im still hoping that this is some kind of joke or threat on Rad\'s part to the Nashville brass. For now, Im glad I didnt accept a Rads/Kovalchuk for my Ovie offer in a dynasty league this summer.

I wouldn\'t say \"confirms\" as much as \"reiterates\". TSN had nothing new to add or say.

    Still, now it becomes scarier...

In my other keeper I traded him, and it helped me win...and I had been trying to get him back for over a week now!
Thank goodness he was chicken to do the deal

Ya, the TSN article still uses the same source.

Even barring a real confirmation, there is still plenty of opportunities for this to fall through. How will Medvedev react? Will he annex the deal or let it slide?

nothing has been signed \"offically\" yet. They were in discussion and agreement, nothing signed.

in the arti it sounded like he was pretty set on going back..
    \\
    weak.

cant the NHL or even KHL step in here? although rads reportedly signed the contract before the new NHL/KHL agreement.. wouldn\'t this look terrible on behalf of their new \"friendly\" terms?... hahah.. im not fully convinced that rads is going.

I can understand why he\'d want to go back. Trotz and the preds must be frustrating him to no end. Especially since they didn\'t even contact him back, supposedly.

At least he\'ll be respected when he returns to Russia. Where guys like Radek Bonk and vernon Fiddler won\'t be on lines above him in the depth chart.

Also, is the team Rads wants to sign with in the KHL, or are some teams from the RSL not switching over?

Maybe he goes to play in Russia for 3 years then comes back to the NHL with a different team that\'s more willing to put his talents to use. By then he\'ll be hitting his prime.

Who knows, this might be good in the long run for Radulov owners. And I\'m one of them. If not, well, that actually makes my keeper decisions easier this summer...

Aye. I think he wants to be appreciated. Whether he deserves it or not(I\'m of the mind he does).

He has incredible skills and his 2 way play has improved drastically since he came overseas. There\'s no reason for him to be away from the top 6 in Nashville. Trotz enjoys taking it slow with prospects, but when Radulov is among his best options to help win the game, he should side with logic.
