Gibson vs Stalock

I'm not wading into the Gibson/Andersen furor, but do have a question. I have Gibson in a deep 20-team keeper league. Goalies are hard to come by, as you can imagine, so Gibson is a nice asset to roster. From everything I've read, Gibson is the best young G in the game not currently starting.

I have been offered Stalock straight up. Can someone please fill me in regarding the situation in SJ? Is Stalock looking to be the starter next year or is SJ thinking of bringing Niemi back as a FA? What is the opinion of Stalock?

I don't think I'd do the deal straight up, but might try to add a couple of players.

Stalock is a 27 year old back up goaltender. His value is nowhere near what Gibson's value is. If you were going to trade Gibson, it would have to be for someone special with Stalock being nothing more as an additional piece. I have zero belief that the Sharks will start next season with Stalock as their starting goaltender.
