I think you may have miss-read due to biased clowdy Turdis vision. I said GIVES UP a lot of shots. As in, the opposing team has lots of shot attempts against the Sens when Turris is on the ice. So, I'm saying that Turris maybe isn't the defensive monster 2-way player that some people give him credit for.

To be fair, Turris does give up a LOT of shot attempts while he is on the ice.

He’s on a 50+pt pace for the last 3 seasons. That’s not bad. Busts in that draft were Wyatt Hope, Plante, Gilles, Cherepanov (well he died the next yr), MacMillan, Esposito, Riley nash, Blum, White, Petrecki, O’Brien, Nick Ross. 12/30 1^st rounders are guys people don’t even know.

He’s on pace again for 50some-odd points this yr. Is he as great as Kane and JVR from that draft? Nope, but let’s think of this, JvR has the same output as Turris in the last 3 years. Is JvR a bust?
