Saw this on my Fantrax player news ticker just now:
Weiss will not play in the third period of his conditioning assignment at AHL Grand Rapids after sustaining a lower body injury, MLive.com's Ansar Khan reports.
I don't want to poke fun but you know things aren't going well when you fail your conditioning assignment...

If there are a few threads I want to disappear from DobberHockey... they are the ones where I speculated Weiss could get back to scoring 60pts as Detroit's C2 (after he signed).
