Complicated 3 Way Trades

So I and two other GM\'s are trying to put together a 3-way trade.

We have 2 scenarios we are working with.

I won\'t get into the entirety of the trade but here is how each one works out for me. If you could, just do this on pure value... not worrying about my teams situation. Only thing to take into consideration is that it is a 14 team dynasty league with 4 D spots and 2 G spots making D and G more valuable.

Scenario 1:
I get: Pouliot, Roloson, Franson, Christensen
I give: Rolston, Nilsson, Boyes

Scenario 2:
I get: Pouliot, Roloson, Franson
I give: Brindy, Nilsson, Higgins

I feel in Scenario 1 giving up Rolston might be too much considering it is a SOG league.

Essentially is Christensen worth giving up Rolston instead of brindy? And would you rather keep higgins or Boyes?

Or would you not do either?

Well I really need a 5th D man for the future and I think franson has a good one.

I am looking a year away or so because I feel my team may not compete this year. I am trying to continue to get younger by moving guys like rolston and brindy but goalies still hold value in a 14 team league so I still have interest in roloson as a result.

To be honest we wanted to do a 3-way trade for fun a bit too but I don\'t want to lose value of course.

Trade Pending Period: None

My team:

C- Crosby, Bergeron
LW- Straka, Higgins
RW- Hemsky, Boyes
D- J. Johnson, Bieksa, Letang, Corvo
Util- Rolston
Bn- Brind\'Amour, Avery, Kostitsyn, Bochenski
G- Biron, Leclaire
BN- Mason
Farm- Downie, Nilsson, Fleischmann, Little, Giroux, J. Bernier, Helenius, Elliot, Morozov, Zharkov

I am at capacity and I will probably have to drop someone to make room for my #6 draft pick. Who to drop... a question for a later time haha.

But that is another reason perhaps the 4 for 3 isn\'t good although there may be a couple russians there I should part ways with anyway lol.

I don\'t see the trade benefiting you...

I think Higgins has a lot of potential...
And I think if you give Rolston AND Boyes, you should get a little more...

A few thoughts...
First, in goal, I would probably move Mason up to an active position...

I like your defense, but Letang might still be a couple of years away from producing...
Maybe move him to the farm if you can.

Your right side is a little weak...

well yeah mason is ahead of leclaire probably now but he is still active. He will be rotated on and off the bench like usual. He isn\'t on the inactive farm by any means.

Yes I like my D but only have 4 and being young worries me which is the reason I have interest in Franson for the longterm.

I am thinking if I got two first round prospect picks (for 08 and 09) in the deal maybe I should do it. Don\'t know if that will happen though.

There is a slight chance Lombardi could replace Christensen which seems better I think. Although I\'d love to have christ on my side!

Seriously though, the excitement of playing on the penguins makes him very interesting.

PIT(ME) gets: B.Pouliot(LW), Roloson(G), Christensen(C), Franson(D), 1st rd Prospect pick (#14 07 or 08 pick or 09 pick)

VAN gets: A.Markov(D), Seabrook(D), Boyes(C/RW), Nilsson(C), Samsonov(LW)

ATL gets: J.Blake(LW), Rolston(C/LW/RW), Kopecky(C)

Sooooo...

PIT (ME) loses: Rolston(C/LW/RW), Boyes(C/RW), Nilsson(C)

VAN loses: J.Blake(LW), Kopecky(C), Roloson(G), Christensen(C), Franson(D), 1st rd Prospect pick

ATL loses: B.Pouliot(LW), A.Markov(D), Seabrook(D), Samsonov(LW)


Who wins? Who Loses? Is it a good trade? I\'m really not liking losing boyes and Rolston I don\'t think. Will Rolston still be trip eligibile in yahoo this year though?
