    Default Lehtera

Looking good tonight. I've been thinking of grabbing him for a bit, as I need a bench C for spot starts to get FOW when necessary. Right now Brandon Sutter is that guy. He got two points tonight too, but is Lehtera an upgrade for the time being with Statsney out? I know Sutter is back to the third line.

Also have Smith-Pelley and Heatley chilling on the bench. Could drop one of those guys, but I'd be interested in seeing if either has some staying power with Perry and Getzlaf (Likely neither does, but who knows...). Could probably drop Bouwmeester as well.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I think the guys that you currently have have higher upside than lehtora

I project lehtora as a 15/20/35 guy if that helps. And I think that one of DSP and Heatley will stick on the top line, but I think it will be a revolving door for the first half of the season. Sutter plays PP2 on the Pens, which aint bad at all.

Also keep in mind Lehtera will get less stats once Stastny returns he will be third line center.

Figured I'd rejuvenate this thread - regardless of whether the advice is still needed.

Is this guy riding Tarasenko's coattails, or is he a legit point producer?
Part of it is surely chemistry, but he's been awesome!

I haven't seen him play yet. Looking for some thoughts....

Haha, I've been on the lehtera train all year, but since this thread is a couple of weeks old, there's no way lehtera is still on the waiver wire still if the op hasn't grabbed him by now. He looks poised for 50-60 points. I drafted him in the late rounds in some pools hoping for a nice sleeper, but he's exceeding all my expectations! It's not all just tarasenko either. Those were legit snipes last night! Picking spots and not shooting into the goalie's chest.

The Schwartz - Lehtera - Tarasenko line might be the most dangerous offensive one in the league east of California.
