    Default Galchenyuk for Rielly

Keeper league counting G, A, +-, PPP, SHP, PIMs, Shots, Hits, Blocks

I've been offered Morgan Rielly and Thomas Vanek for Ale Galchenyuk and Andrei Vasilevskiy.

Part of me wants to move Galch now while his potential is through the roof because I'm afraid that his peripheral numbers will never be great. Part of me is also scared that the same thing will happen to Rielly. Vanek would be a slight upgrade on my current LWs.

Lemme know if you think I should pull the trigger on this.

Rielly has star potential and he's only 20. Chucky has potential to but is always getting hurt. Vanek is goign to do pretty well in Minnisota but you should flip him as well for something good. I'd do the deal for sure.

That seems like a lot for Galchenyuk- and Im a fan. Id do it- thats good value. Vaneks one of those guys who people are so worried about hes probably become undervalued- lol! It would be an incredible feat if Galchenyuk matched Vanek this season- and getting Rielly to boot is overkill.

    I like the Rielly side.

ps. Why are goalies even in the league if goalie cats are not an issue.

Oops, goalies are worth .2 for saves, 2.5 for a win, and 2 for a shutout. -1 for goals against. I ended up doing the deal as follows:

I gave up: galchenyuk, Vasilevskiy, and Pulock
for: Rielly, Vanek, and Tyler Johnson

Good move, especially for this year. Short-term you come out wayyyy ahead.

Losing Pulock stinks because I really like him in the next couple few years, but not a reason to hold up the deal. Rielly is better than him anyway, and is already in the NHL. Nice job.
