I like him - he\'s ranked pretty high in my prospects list. I think he\'ll be on the team and should be good for a 50-point rookie year.
Last Thursday, John McGourty of NHL.com reported that Igor Grigorenko will definetloy be in Detroit come October. He currently has a one year, two way contract with an out clause that states he can return to Russia after two months if he is not happy.
My question is what does everyone think about this guy? I drafted him, let him go and this year drafted him again...I know he was a top prospect before his car accident but how does he look now? The Wings want to reunite him with Datsyuk so I am taking a chance on this guy...anyone else?

I can\'t see them wanting him so bad just for Datsyuk. I think Datsyuk is just fine without him. Is he going to get as much playing time as Hudler last year.? I can\'t see Babcock just letting this guy come into the team and throw him out on the first line. That is not how he runs the show.. I could see him maybe playing third line with Hudler and Frannson...

I would agree with you Dobber, if only Babcock were not the coach. Tiny finesse kids don\'t get a lot of ice time right off the bat under Babcock... not enough ice time to score 50 points, anyway.I like him - he\'s ranked pretty high in my prospects list.
