I'd imagine he was brought up to soak in the experience rather than play. The Admirals are out of the playoff picture, so no harm bringing him up and if they need a spark, maybe he gets thrown in. Either way, all things looking way up for Fiala.

As a Fiala owner this is great news. Even if he doesn't get into a game, just the experience of playoff hockey with the big club (traveling, practices, etc.) will do wonders for his development.

So at this point we gotta pencil Fiala in for next year, right?
I know anything can happen and a bad camp can spoil it, but all signs point to yes. Any guess at potential linemates? I am going on the assumption that both Ribeiro and Fisher will be back. There seems to be room in the top six if Fiala is a better fit than Wilson or Smith.
Forsberg-Ribeiro-Fiala would be nice.
