Don't agree that Tampa is "completely" over rated. I think they'll sustain last year's progress but I do agree that really the top spot is up for grabs by any number of teams. But Strongly agree about MTL. Price and Subban can only take them so far. Or maybe it's must me...when I look at that squad top to bottom...it bores me.

I don’t think Bishop can repeat. His whole system was based on saving the first shot, then his defense clearing it. I’m looking for him to do somewhere in between what he did at the beginning of the season and at the end of the season. A teir2 goalie

Tampa hasn't been able to sustain any progress over the last few years. Swept in the playoffs, losing their captain, goalie playing over his head, too much youth. Very much like Ottawa last year IMO.

I think Montreal is way better than them.

Brad Richards apparently has been demoted to 3rd line center. This will impact his value quite a bit if it's permanent.

I don't expect this to last. Shaw averages like 10 mins or so of ice time. I fully expect Richards to be skating with Kane at even strength (I own them both, so they f'in better) by the end of the game.

Is that Patrick Eaves on the Stars' second line? That's going to be interesting. He never really got a shot to show his offensive chops in Detroit.

    only if he was overvalued

there is a reason he was dropped to the 4th line in 2 playoffs in a row now

    he is getting old

while it is true that not everyone over 30 sees their games decline there are some who actually do and Richards is one of them

The Lucic line is simply what used to be Lucic - Krejci - Iginla, only without Krejci and Iginla.

There's never a lock for anything. But imo they're still number one in the East. Iginla's absence hurts but they win as a team.

That's because they had a non-NHL goalie in goal. The Kings also had their butts kicked twice by more experienced teams before they won the Cup. Pittsburgh was kicked by Ottawa in 2007. Etc.

I doubt Richards gets back up there. And Shaw definitely plays more than that. Richards simply isn't as good of player as Shaw is at this point in their carers.

Wow... just realizing now how brilliant it was that I picked up the C/LW Soderberg in my FOW league.
    Woo-friggin-hoo. 7 games in 11 nights + FOW from the wing + probably Krejci's PP1 time. Niiiiiice.

    Projected Lineup vs. Philadelphia 10/8

Chris Kelly - Carl Soderberg - Loui Eriksson
Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron - Reilly Smith
Milan Lucic - Ryan Spooner - Matt Fraser
Daniel Paille - Craig Cunningham - Bobby Robins

    Zdeno Chara - Dougie Hamilton
    Dennis Seidenberg - Adam McQuaid
    Torey Krug - Kevan Miller

    Scratch: Matt Bartkowski
This line was dynamite from what I saw last night, I can see them being the Bruins best line this season.
The reality though is that the Bruins have more of a top 9 than a top 6, the coach will want to get most of those guys on the ice as much as possible so it will probably e more important which guys earn the top PP time than anything.
