It is believed to be San Jose that has the trade on the table. So much for Kubina to SJ rumours, eh?

I don\'t see Philly as a plausible destination given the fact they are right up against the cap, and we know Richards Briere Carter and Timo aren\'t goin anywhere, and TB won\'t take garbage back for Boyle...an ideal fit would be SJ, as the loss of campbell has left that squad with a glaring opening on the backend.

isn\'t this funny, they signed Boyle to the extension a mere 4 months ago, and the rumours of, and likely purchase of the franchise was in the cards at that time!

what i meant to say was that he has \'officially\' been asked to waive meaning that it is because there is a specific offer on the table, not because they want to know in a general sense.

as for the unofficial part, that\'s just because this is from a \'source\' and not the team directly. based on some of the junk that comes from the mouth of a guy like kypreos thanks to his \'sources\' im always just a little skeptical, lol

i would think that any deal where boyle goes to SJ would bring carle back to tampa bay. he\'s younger, cheaper, talented, locked up and he could use the change of scenery. perfect for the rebuild/turnaround happening there

While I would agree that Carle would make sense, I don\'t think I would give him up if I was Wilson. He is young, locked up, and getting better. Tampa Bay is most definitely not dealing from a position of strength here, they need to shed salary and fast, and I don\'t think they can wait for true value in return. Remember the tap dance Lou Lamoriello had to do with Malakhov and Mogilny when they were over the cap to start the \'06\'\'07 season...I send them Kyle McLaren at best! Wasn\'t he rumoured to be the compensation for Kubina at the deadline?

Oh wow. If the Sharks send away Kyle McLaren and change(Lukas Kaspar and Joslin? Doug Murray? The Sharks ARE stripping Worcester of all its talent...why not continue?) for Danny Boyle, that would be ridiculous.

He COULD be. COULD. Low chance though, since Doug Wilson\'s approximate budget is around the 51 million area. Unless some serious salary is moved...

I\'d say 98% chance there\'s no way Boyle comes over. Blake was probably the backup plan in case the boyle move couldn\'t go down. 2% chance they somehow pull it off.
