Spider-Man 2 should have ended with the Toby Maguire Spider-Man 2. Unfortunately they have made three more stinkers. Not sure why they thought a reboot so soon after the last triad was necessary.

Who said it was good in the first place? The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was pretty much universally panned since it was just one long commercial for the Sinister Six movie that's in the works.

Because if they don't make these movies, they lose the rights to the characters.

or do a spiderman vs carnage/venom movie, where venom isn't ERIC FORMAN, i mean seriously it's like they picked the worst possible person to play him. venom needs to be ripped, tom hardy would be a pretty good venom imo. back in the day i thought jim carey would be a great carnage, but i think he's too old for that role now.

They're going to be spitting out half-assed, cheap Spider-Man movies as long as obscene amounts of people actually pay to go see them, which is how it is now. Marvel isn't getting Spidey back for a loooooong time.
