Default Poor Pengwin Needs QB Help

    My QB was Josh McCown.
    How awful?
    No... don't answer that.
I need a new one... and no I wasn't smart enough to pick up Kirk Cousins.

Standard scoring (4pts per Passing TD), who do I go with for the foreseeable future (One-Year League)

*Eli Manning (NYG) Week4 @ WAS (Thursday)
*Derek Carr (OAK) Week4 vs. MIA
*Drew Stanton (ARI) *BYE* [And I need MUST get a QB this week with this move.]
    *Fitzpatrick (HOU) Week4 vs. BUF
*Teddy Bridgewater (MIN) - is he now the guy? Week4 vs. ATL
*Blake Bortles (JAX) - is he now the guy? Week4 @ SD

The other option is to trade one of my group for somebody's back-up.
I've been close to talks with the Philip Rivers owner (has Stafford), but it doesn't seem like Brandon Cooks is enough for him.

Manning. Yesterday's game was solid and might be a turning point. He has a whole new offense to learn.

    Thanks Ev.
I'm thinking about it... Eli has burned me in the past... but he still has good tools and WAS sure got shredded in the air by PHI.

Also, Austin Davis is looking real good if he's available. He's on a bye week this week, though.

Hey Peng. I think your best bets are Manning this week & picking up Bortles as a stash. It was garbage time, and often it wont be pretty, but Bortles still put up 19 FPs in a half of football.

I don't know much about him.
Does he scramble? Will he run for yards & possibly TDs like a Cam Newton?

On today's Yahoo! Transaction Trends, it's showing a lot of teams adding him:
    +7300 Cousins
    +3800 Bortles
    +1900 E.Manning
    +1800 Bridgewater

I don't really think he is much of a runner. He is just a significant upgrade on Henne, the Jags actually have some pretty decent receivers, and Jacksonville will be consistently chasing points and throwing a lot. That's just an equation for stats. Like I said. It won't be pretty, but he can put up numbers, and is much better than what you're currently rocking. I'd just grab both and play the matchups between Manning/Bortles.

he wasn't starting because Jacksonville's o-line is terrible. Henne got sacked 10 times one game. He will be like Carr, decent stats, an INT or two, and a TD.

Honestly, I'd be watching that situation in Minny. I think Cassel just started his last game in Minny (barring an injury).

No, I am saying Bridgewater will be the starter from here on out, assuming he doesn't get hurt, even after Cassel's comes back.

Well... so three guys on the radar... Eli, Bortles, and TeddyB.
I guess it might just be a week-to-week match-up decision.

Who is best for Week 4 do you guys think?

Eli. Washington's secondary is decimated. I like Bortles more than Teddy BTW. Teddy may have the *best* weapon in Cordarelle, but Bortles has way more weapons.

Eli for this next week. I would definitely keep trying to get Rivers via trade though - great stats so far this year and that's without Keenan Allen doing much, which should change soon.

    This is very sound advice
