    Default Advice for league startup

Hey everyone, I am new to the Dobber site, but I have been playing fantasy hockey for a while now and it just seems like each league has that lack of commitment that drives the league down and I really get frustrated with it.

After going through this site, I was hoping I could round up a group of the most dedicated people who take hockey seriously and will stay active in a fantasy league. To do all this, I was hoping to adopt some of Dobber\'s rules, and maybe add a few extra to tweak it a little, but I want everyone to actually enjoy the rules.

Hopefully this is not considered spam, I just would really appreciate some feedback, so I have created a Fantasy Hockey Survey that would really help.

If you have time, please take it and provide any additional comments because they would be greatly appreciated. Also, if this type of league format sounds like something you would like to do, I think currently I only have about 4-6 people who would be committed enough to play. SO, if you want to play, please let me know that also. Thanks for your time everyone.

I would love to play! I am currently in one keeper league and I\'m hooked. My e-mail is [email protected]. I would love to hear the details about this league. Thanx,

Well hopefully we can get a few more people with this enthusiasm. Once the rules are confirmed, we will go from there. Thanks for helping with the survey!

another player posted on a different thread, his login name is

    BringIt, email address, [email protected]

Also, if anyone has a way of informing Zorro, he was interested in the last pool that was started i think. He had left a message on the thread that we had saying he was. Not sure if anyone knows him but if you happen to seem post close to a time that you do maybe he will see it.

Zorro, apply on this thread if your interested in this pool. not sure when it\'s going to get started but sounds like it\'s a new one.

I just answer the survey. I\'m committed 100% when I\'m in a league.

First, I would go Dobber\'s setup but with more players on the pro team.
I could pay 50$ but I prefer from 20$ to 40$. We could start the first year at 20$ and add 10$ more each year.
Also I\'m not sure about a face to face draft cos maybe we live very far from each other. I would protect 10 to 12 players.

    Thanks!

How do you guys have time for so many hockey pools?!

I overextended myself last year with random 1 year pools combined with a couple keeper leagues and I said I would never do it again.

I usually just set aside 30 minutes a day and go through all my pools and make changes. It hasn\'t failed me yet.
