voracek will be #2 RW, even if they had failed to sign huselius, he would have been the reason why they traded zherdev. by the way, i don\'t see zherdev\'s upside being much more than huselius\' potential right now.

i agree with dobber in his huselius prediction. the only thing that could hold him back is the hitch-factor... but it seems to me that hitchcock and howson have a very close working relationship (correct me if i\'m wrong) and i highly doubt howson would bring in a highly paid player that hitch didn\'t approve of. very similar to the sutter-keenen relationship in calgary.

also, i really think we\'ll see filatov playing for the jackets this year. otherwise, why draft him? this team needs excitement... and as was reported after the draft, hitch was super impressed after filatov\'s interview. also, if pat kane can play at his size, filatov should be able to as well.

Clb is an exciting team to watch. They were in my top 5 of teams to watch last season. Sure they don\'t have superstars aside from Nash but they were exciting.

You\'re right ultrawhiteness. Howson and Hitch are both on the same page when it comes to the identity they are building for this team and the way they want them to play. \"Checking creates scoring chances\" is what Hitch always boasts. He\'s teaching this team to play a strong defensive game and Howson is giving him the players to fit that style.

Just look at some of the names Howson has brought in over the last few days: Umberger, Torres, Commodore, Tyutin. All of them are big bodies who play well defensively and can dish out the hits.

Hitch and Howson definately have a plan when it comes to this team and are working together to improve this club.
