Would anyone be targeting Kuemper over Elliot due to this? Or too early to predict whether he beats out Backstrom/Bryz (what's the deal there anyways? who's staying with the club?)

In a one-year league, no. I'd still want Elliott. In a keeper league, I'd probably go for Kuemper, but that would be regardless of this injury.
