    Default Peter Forsberg

Just read, that one of my all times favourites Peter Forsberg will be honored Dec. 16 at WFC (vs. Tampa Bay) for his HOF induction. That makes me think of this old video:

So incredibly strong on the puck, he was near impossible to knock off it

Awesome! Forsberg was damn near the perfect specimen for the clutch and grab era, if not for his junk feet. An all-timer for sure.

I started hating this guy in 1996 against Detroit. He was just so damn good. He could do it all, like a stronger and meaner Sergei Fedorov at the time, and he made the Wings look silly many times. Probably the strongest will among all Swedish hockey players in history, in addition to his mindblowing skill and strength.

Too bad he couldn't stay healthy. He was the complete hockey player and could dominate in ways few players at that time could.

I think both Forsberg and Lindros had the same problem. They were dominant, but a large part of their dominance was due to their playing styles and that led to fast wear and tear.

One of my favourite players of all-time. He played tough and was supremely talented. Amazing when you think of playing the Avs back then, which line do you check, Sakic's or Forsberg's!? Yep, you're screwed!

too bad he was such a douchebag and too good to sign jerseys after the game.

Went to Preds at Oilers back when he played for Preds, and he ignored all preds fans and even fans with Colorado and quebec jerseys.

arrogant prick. Never liked him since then

    My favorite player all time.

The excitement I had back in the day watching forsberg on the puck warding off massive defenders then completely taking over a game isn't matched by anything I see today, though Nathan Mackinnon - despite his completely different style- comes close.
