My D are too solid to get him into the mix. However, I may just trade one of them to get a spot open. I just picked up Pietrangelo off WW. Brodie, Stalman (my +/- guy), Karlsson, and Vatenen aren’t worth a drop. From what I’ve read on the guy it sounds like a small comparison to Karlsson. He is a slender smooth skater with high end offensive hockey sense, but below average defensive zone play. But from what I’ve seen when watch games, he’s not bad at all in his own zone. His 1st pass out is solid, but because of his size, the cycle game hurts him.

Just picked Klinger up in my $ pts pool - had an open spot on reserve so worth the gamble. Hopefully have uncovered a hidden gem.

kinda think I agree with Gainer here.

Incidently... I've been searching around for comparison's, but can't see to find those "Little Karlsson" comparison's. I DID see a comparison to a "Smaller less skilled Kaberle" on Hockeysfuture.com.

Hopefully a Hidden Gem as MagicStew hopes for, but young D tend to scare me, especially ones that just arrived and need to Jump over 2 established (albeit Cold as ice) D.

Definitely an interesting prospect no doubt, but think I'm going to watch this one play out.

Would I be crazy to drop Burakovsky for Klingberg? We must roster at least one rookie at all times, and Burakovsky is usually the odd man out of my lineup. I also have Benn & Seguin, so if these guys can click on a PP, well, that's a lot of points...I
I also have an empty D slot to fill...

Klingberg or Severnson - I can keep a defender under 150 games for free and hold Severnson for that reason.

I think you are crazy. The only way it MIGHT make sense is if you planned on dropping Bura at the end of the season. Even still, F gets more points than D and Andre is pretty darn good, while Klingberg's role is still being defined.

Klingberg looks to be headed up while the NJD defense is a carousel. Actually, I'm not going to answer this.

I'm as excited about Klingberg as anyone but we don't have much to go by as far as predicting his future. His stats in Europe are good, not outstanding. His AHL stats are outstanding but only over 10 games. His stats over 4 games in the NHL are not all that interesting but I've been very impressed watching him in all four games (I watch a lot of Stars games). He's a wild card at this point. I wouldn't drop anyone more established for him but at the same time I would like to keep him on my team, if I can (which I am in my league) and see how he progresses. Between him and Severson, tough call but I think I'd go with Severson if I had a gun to my head.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

I think the key here is that if you make a trade to open up a slot then he's possibly worth nabbing depending what else is there but actively trying to shoehorn him into rosters that don't need him is over zealous. There are always going to be players we would like but logistics make it impossible

I think Kling is the most obvious drop here, the most unproven.

If not him I'd actually probably go with either E. Johnson or S. Jones. 2 Avs D is kind of suspect but I don't suspect Jones getting much PP time/offensive deployment with Josi & Weber in the mix.

In the sim league in my sig, I have had him stashed in my prospects pool for 3 years, reading this post is music to my... er... eyes.

Just kicking myself for not grabbing him in my H2H league though. Then again, Klingberg or Zadorov?

Two assists tonight for the kid. And another dud for Daley. Pretty happy I picked him up in all my leagues yesterday.
