OK.....here\'s my take on a lineup:

Poni - Antropov - Stajan
Blake - Steen - Hagman
Bell - Mayers - Devereaux
Tlusty - Kuelmin - ???? (Maybe Earl)

How sad is this - i don\'t even think I can legitimately fill in that last spot!!! That\'s got to be the worst bunch of forwards in the NHL....someone please tell me I\'ve missed someone!!!

There may not be a 25 goal scorer on this team next year, and defensemen should easily be 1 - 2 in points (assuming McCabe is \"allowed\" to come to camp).

This is truly sad. At least Tavares or Hedman await!!!

Kulemin, Blake will score 25, Hagman, Antro and Poni will score 20. The team is right in the thick of the Tavares/Hedman sweeps.

I\'ll add Gamache to that list, he is still under contract for next season. He would get a spot if they try him out. I think Stajan should be on the list.

A defensemen (probably Kaberle) will lead the team in points.

Call me crazy, but why isn\'t McCabe playing wing this season?

I mean you have a decent defencman who has an amazing shot and great offensive instincts... a defencman who\'s only problem is defence...
doesn\'t this sound like a 70 point winger?

I mean doesn\'t this solve McCabe\'s contract and the need for a decent winger at the same time?

PLUS Ponikarovski and Antropov are 2 band-aid boys in my book so... what a shitty season ahead for the Leafs. I cannot believe they signed the worst player they could in Hagman :X

By the way, Toronto, Florida and Atlanta are the 3 most disgusting line-ups for 08-09. I just don\'t understand what their management are doing.

Look for a breakout season from Steen once Antropov and Poni go down with injury. Blake and Steen will be a great 1-2 punch (leaf terms not the league as a whole)
