I was offered byfuglien + 5th round pick for my jeff carter + 3rd rounder. He's looking to upgrade SOG + FOW, while I get a lot more in hits, sog...

I think buff is a awesome fantasy player (provided he remains at RW/D slot) second behind only karlsson, but my team is pretty deep as it is.

Ive stated my opinions on Buff before.
Guys his size decline very very quickly once it starts. He's 33 now and I can see it happening before 35.
It has happened before with Baseball players (cecil fielder). Unfortunately we haven't seen many hockey players with his body type in recent years.
I also realize that he has committed to fitness from time to time, but I'm not willing to bet on his yo-yo.

I could be wrong but I think he is referring to his positioning on fantasy sites like Yahoo/Fantrax, etc.
I would do it if the picks weren't in the deal. I don't think you should have to downgrade the picks that far but that's just me.
Counter without the picks and see if he bites. I would be more comfortable with the deal that way.

Buff is one of the best fantasy players in the league, as recent as last year expically on D. I am also worried about a decline because I think it happens eventually but Jeff Carter you got to treat like a 30 goal 50-60 point player Buff is there already as a foward but adds other stats as well. So as forward there almost a wash, as a D he might be the best option in the league.
