wow, TB is going nuts here, I guess with ROlston not signing, they really wanted another guy.

Me thinks Rolston signs elsewhere now. Vrbata\'s like Prospal...generally over-rated and kind of useless, but in the right environment with the right linemates 70+ potential. TB may be the 2nd best case scenario for Vrbata [over PHO].

so apparently TB didn\'t get the memo that their defense and goaltending were their \"weaknesses.\"
What are they doing exactly? I\'m completely miffed as to why they think they need two full lines of \"name\" forwards...

1) \"make a big play for Hossa and miss everyone else\"
2) miss out on Hossa
3) Gain NOTHING...
Just my experience following vancouver these past few seasons (not necessarily a die hard fan, but they are one of the teams I like to follow).
I wonder if their rookie GM is a bit out of his league this off-season (it is his first go-around as a GM)... things move awefully quickly I\'m sure...

Tampa sure is trying hard to make a splash with all the recent trades/signings but they\'re in dangerous territory in my opinion.
The Malone deal is a joke. He\'s not worth the dollars or term. He\'s a good player but they overpaid and that contract could come back to haunt them. They\'re certainly adding bodies up front but they still have yet to address their goaltending or defense.
I wonder if they\'ll take a run at Kolzig? That wouldn\'t be a bad signing in case Smith can\'t carry the load. Kolzig is definately on his last legs but is still a decent goaltender.

Looks like Tamapa wants to be like the old Rangers overpay for a bunch of underperformers, they really need Dmen and is Mike Smith really a top notch goalie, they had better hope so
