You're ready to compete now so I agree with your list. Stepan is the guy on my bubble but I can see why you'd take a shooter like Nyquist over him. My list would be the same as yours.

looks good to me, I might switch Nyquist with Stepan as I see Stepan as being higher on the depth chart in NYR.

How many start at each position? I ask this cause I would likely take out St. Louis and insert Yandle.

Works for me, though I had the same thought as Kane Ryker

looks good at face value but would like to see how many you start to make certain as Nyqvist vs Yandle could be a toss up depending on how many at each postion

either way though you have some players you are kicking that have keeper value in a 12 team league so I would certainly be looking to either upgrade current keepers with those players or upgrading picks if you can still make trades

I concur with your presented list of keepers. hard to see Yandle go but if there's no positional requirements...what you have selected is best for you right now IMO

Ya, I have a hard time leaving Keith Yandle off that list of 12. I'd probably let MSL slide for him.

    Wow awesome replies.

    We start the following, 2 x C, 2 x LW, 2 x RW, 3 x F and 4 x D. I should have specified that sorry.

I left Yandle out because there are always a TON of D available in the draft. And yes we are still able to make trades. For instance yesterday I dealt Filppula for a 3rd round pick because no chance I was keeping him.

yeah if your league doesn't hold many D then you are making the right decision letting Yandle go

I would still be looking to pair up some of those players for some upgrades if possible though

Me too, they should post similar numbers this year so why not take the young guy?

Stepan had 4 more points than Yandle and no where near the PPP and PIMs. In fact, there was only 6 other players with more PPP than Yandle last year.

This isn't a points only league and other things should be considered as well.

Frankly if you don't win the pool with this lineup I can't even

Might take Yandle over St Louis to round out your defense a bit, but otherwise this team is a juggernaut

I also like Yandle over MSL - but you know your league best - if you think he's re-draftable, then go with MSL.
