Tell me what's wrong with my keepers!

We have until the end of the month to finalize out keepers, I like to get things out of the way early and have come up with the list below. I cna still make some changes until Sept.1 of course, so try and change my mind if you want.

Our scoring system is G=1pt, A=1pt, GWG=1pt, PIM=0.2 (1pt for every 5 PIM basically) for skaters and W=2, SO=3, OTL=1 for goalies. That's it no plus/minus, hits, blocks, or anythign else.

We can keep 16 players, but since we start nine forwards, six D and one goalies that usually what everyone does On to the list finally.

Keepers Forwards:
Evgeni Malkin, Ryan Getzlaf, Scott Hartnell, Ryan Kesler, Jarome Iginla, Rick Nash, Steve Downie, Antoine Roussel, Patrick Maroon

Dropped Forwards: Patrik Elias, Nathan Horton, Justin Williams, Clarke MacArthur, Lee Stempniak, Kyle Palmieri

Keeper Defense: James Wisniewski, Dan Boyle, Mark Streit, Kevin Bieksa, Matt Niskanen, Andrej Sekera

Dropped Defense: Kimmo Timonen, Zach Bogosian, Lubomir Visnovsky, Calvin de Haan,

Keeper Goalie: Corey Schneider

Dropped Goalie: Jimmy Howard

I think I'd keep Horton and Visnovsky over Niskanen and Roussel

I'd also really consider keeping Williams over Maroon. No Hits/BLKs etc, Maroon is basically dumpster fire unless he lines up with Getz/Perry, and I don't think he will.

Forwards: Keep Elias, Horton, MacArthur over Steve Downie, Antoine Roussel, Patrick Maroon
Defence: Good
Goaltenders: Good (Unless its not a weekly starts, if its a daily start league I would consider keeping Howard as well over one of your fringe forwards

Thanks for the input. I actually had Horton and Visnovsky is originally, but cut them after a little more research and checking out their projections in the Dobber guide this year

Believe it or not under our points system Roussel was equivalent to MacKinnon last season and Maroon averaged more points per game than Williams last season due to Williams streakiness, the Kings mediocre offense output and his complete lack of PIMs.

Should have added not daily start league. We actually lock rosters in at start of season, with small number of non-IR related moves

Vis is PP1 in New York. Niskanen is competing with like 4 guys for PP time. I'll take the guy feeding Tavares.

Elias can still put up solid numbers, so i'd keep him over Maroon. I don't see much upside/opportunity for this guy...

Goalies seem quite valuable, so I'd look into keeping Howard as well. Not sure who to drop though, Maybe Niskanen? I fear his production won't match the hype and contract he has now...
