Viktor Tikhonov

Anyone have any kind of indication on what kind of numbers this guy could put up in the NHL, specifically Phoenix of course?

I\'ve read a lot of varying info on him. Some say he maxes out as a 3rd liner, some say he can be a pp specialist, some say he is a killer top six forward. It\'s all making my head spin really...

My take? Boom or bust. It better be the former.

I think he has a chance to be a star winger, but only time will tell.

Anyway, he was good enough for the \"Great One\", so it was good enough for me.

He should be a very good option for you.. Yes a High risk High reward player.. But I\'m liking what the yotes are putting together.. I also have to say that they have finally started to draft well.. So that should be a good sign.. take the chance.. he has some great players to join in phx.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge that I frequented this site.

I don\'t post trade questions on here though. I just gather info and then make my decision. I don\'t need my trading partner checking out everyone\'s advice B)

Back to Tikhonov...

The Coyotes must think he\'s close to NHL ready, because they signed him already. Of course, the Coyotes may have just singed he and Boedker early so that they don\'t run into another Wheeler situation down the road.

From what I have gathered, the knock on Tikhonov is that he doesn\'t use his teammates as well as he should. He\'s extremely talented, but tends to try and do things on his own. Take it for what it\'s worth, as I\'ve only seen limited action from him, but his talent was pretty evident from what I have seen.
