I have no clue if my teams performances are illusions or real.

Cincy feels real. Philly had two come from behind wins, one against the worst team in the league and the other they got plenty of help from the refs to achieve. Jets win was against one of the worst teams in the league and Cleveland looks to be a tough out.

The thing with Philly is that they still get six games against the NFC East so even if they've been lucky so far they'll still win games because of an easy schedule.

So I wouldn't say that this is smoke and mirrors.

Cinci-D is for real, that alone will keep them in any game.

Yeah, my only question with them is on offense. Losing Eifert in game one was huge, he looked like he might be a key part of their offense. Losing AJ Green is another huge blow. The good news is that they can still run the ball. They'll need to because Andy Dalton still isn't very good. Wait until they play a team with a good pass rush, watch him dance around like his hair is on fire.

Anyone else feel bad for TheWhale? He willingly chose this Tampa team that is laying an egg in Atlanta right now. It's only half time but I'm gonna take a "leap" and call them the first 0-3 team.

My first pick has yet to snipe me a win so it's hard to feel sorry for him.

I am so happy Lovie Smith is getting pounded in Tampa. He was such a condescending dbag the last couple years in Chicago. Glad McCown got paid though. Good guy.

Haha...nice visual on Dalton. Luckily Green has been upgraded to limited practice so should he miss week-3 it appears he won't miss too many games. Even if the toe continues to hamper his play, opposing defenses still have to respect his on-field presence. But you're correct Dalton/Cinci absolute need him on the field to stretch defenses, preventing stacked boxes.

I do! The Bucs and Steelers don't have me feeling good about my chances of winning this thing.

Um... you are going to have to throw in a case of P7-approved beer to get that one done!
I'm liking my chances with Denver/Zona/Detroit.
Even if Oakland puts up a goose egg this year!!! (which is possible!)

I think you'll find it's next to impossible to win this pool with a team that goes winless. Let's say Oakland goes winless and Denver wins 14, Arizona 11, Detroit 10. That's 35 wins, which is good but probably not good enough to win. There will be someone who puts together a 12, 10, 8, 6 type of line, which is where I'm hoping to hit. Of course, Oakland probably doesn't go winless, which puts you in a good spot.
