I don't know why but I'm not THAT down on Carolina. Maybe because they get to play Tampa twice, who is a serious problem.

Not that I was expecting a different outcome but holy man my Vikings got killed last night! I need Teddy Bridgewater to start the final 11 games because Christian Ponder is... **** me.

Also, all of my teams are underdogs this week. Not looking good. I'll be happy with one win this week. Short-lived lead in this pool, me thinks.

    effin Vikings.
I may have to "cut the Cord"-arelle in one of my pools.
What an abysmal output from him. 2 catches for 8 yeards. Come on!

I'm just thankful that Jordy's one catch was worth 12.6pts!!!

Hard to blame Patterson when you got a crappy QB throwing it to ya.

    True.
But he's not even getting targets. (which suggests the replacement QB hasn't been instructed to look to CP as a first option on pass-plays)
Norv, I thought, was supposed to help the air attack for the Vikes.
Instead, they lose AP and are suddenly committed to running Asiata.
It actually got WORSE for Cordarelle once AP went down.
    Good grief.

And I've been reading that TeddyB is targetting the other young WR (Wright or something) because they took 2nd team snaps together.
Like, O-M-G. Cordarelle is looking like a big bust this year.
    Thank you mass-fantasy-football "experts" everywhere for pumping those tires up. {ugh}

To be fair, I don't think it's unreasonable for the Vikings to be going run-heavy with the three quarterbacks they've played. Ponder is junk. Cassel isn't much better. I really like Bridgewater but he's a rookie with one NFL start under his belt. Keep it simple.

As for Patterson specifically, just looking at him move on the few touches he got last night, he looks hurt. Or maybe he spent the summer at McDonalds. He just didn't have the burst that I'm used to. There's nothing on the injury report but I'm telling you there's something physically wrong with him.

I believe you may be right... oh dear.
(I went through this last year with my 3rd or 4th round pick... Roddy White. Not again...)

Teddy targeted Jarius Wright because those were designed pass plays by Turner, not because he "chose" to throw to him. Because of Bridgewater's inexperience and skill set, Turner was forced to scheme an offense he is not known for in order to limit his rookie QB's exposure. Essentially borrowing from the Seahawks' playbook and schemes they use for Wilson. Patterson saw far more snaps (60% I think) during week-4 than Wright, however, if Turner continues to utilize the concepts he did in week-4 upon Bridgewater's return then Patterson will be limited in targets by virtue of offensive design. Much like the Seahawks will not have an 80-90 catch WR, neither will the Vikings.

    That's not Patterson's fault.

I'll trade Jokeland for the Michigan Wolverines. Yuck.
