I did a few years of engineering at university... I contemplated going to law school (and had a very solid LSAT score)... and I now work in a bankruptcy trustee office (finance, for people who are bad with money)...

Maybe I'll auction my services to the highest bidder!

I work in construction management, most of my colleagues are engineers. It's getting tougher and tougher to get a start in the industry without an engineering degree.

I also teach part time at a private career college in the winter months. I guess I'll sign up for the teaching side on this one, just because I love putting it to the engineers whenever I get the chance. Of course, Pengwin did smoke me in the RHRS last season, so I may end up eating crow again on this one.

Canadian Military for over 25 years and still love what I do (Admin/Finance type job). Lucky to have lived in Germany (4 yrs), Norway (2 yrs) and Afghanistan (13 long months!). Great thread, very interesting to read what others do for a living.

Not many in the trades! I'm apprenticing as a plumber in Calgary. Was apprenticing as a cook/chef (loved cooking) but got sick of the low wages, crappy hours and not seeing my friends and family! Didn't like history enough to make a career out of it. Been all over the place in the three years I've been out of high school lol.

what part of Calgary? Im in Calgary too. We should have a dobber event in Calgary for all albertans
