Hey guys. Just wondering what impact, if any, do you think Cammalleri going to Calgary will have on Dustin Brown? For much of the early part of last season before Camm\'s injury He, Kopitar & Brown formed a very nice 1st PP & even strength unit. They built up some great chemistry as a line.I know the Kings put Frolov on the 1st unit b/c of Camm\'s injury and struggles after the injury, but how will Brown react now that he doesnt have Cammalleri on the other wing anymore period. Do you think the pressure to replace Cammalleri\'s 34 goal, 80 point production of 2 years ago consistently be too much for him? Will he still be a 33 goal guy? Worse? Better? Just wondering. Thanks for any and all replies.

As a Patrick O\'Sullivan owner, I was pretty glad to hear of Cammy\'s departure. This pretty much solidifies the top line being Brown - Kopitar - Sully. If so, this bodes very well for both Brown and Sully, and I expect breakout seasons for both next year. I would expect at least 35 from Brown next season, and I hope Sully is not too far behind.

Rumor has it that Purcell will get every chance to play on the first line. I think Browny will be good for 25 to 30 goals and 60-65 points. He may take a step back but he is a hard worker so I would not expect much. The step back is more a gut feel and I really like him so I hope that\'s not the case.

Purcell will play with Frolov and Armstrong next year, with Boyle eventually taking the spot of Armstrong.

No chancce the POS/Anze/Brown line gets broken up.

    Quote for truth.

Brown puts up 65 or 70 next year I think. A bunch of PIMs too. And goals. :woohoo:

brown will continue to get of scoring chances with Kopitar good for an average 35 goals next 5 plus year, might dip to 30 and his ceiling might hit 50 goals in a perfect storm, but look to average 35 goals 60-75 points and tons are hard work for this good player on a great rising team

Wow. Thats one hell of a storm! I dont know if i would go that high. I can definitely see early 40\'s potential, but i think i\'d go as high as 50. I agree with everything else you\'ve said though.

I think Brown will dish out the hits and pot 35+ next year, potentially reaching 70+ points. Just love this guy! Plays the game the way it should be played. If Malone got all of that money...what is D. Brown worth as a UFA? What a steal for LA!

Gotta love Brownie... Former Guelph Storm star in junior. I think he caps out at around 35 goals and 70 points. Great player who likes to muck it up. Hopefully his style of play won\'t lead to any injuries.

Brown is a great late second line pick. The only concern I have with Los Angeles is their transition game as they have lost 2 pretty good D. Will the PP be as good with Vishy gone. But like the rest of you he is on my radar screen for the draft!!!! With everyone signed now comes the boring part of summer NO HOCKEY

Brown/Kopital/O\'Sullivan are all going to have a better year. They will be kept together and not moved around, mostly in O\'Sullivan\'s case, like last year. They will benefit from that.

I think that O\'Sullivan is going to be a star in L.A. Brown and Kopitar will benefit, not to suggest that they don\'t have the skills to do it already.
