i still have jitters. That was a game for the ages. The 3rd Rangers run, that was the right call after the announcers explained it. That home plate ump called a very good game, i gotta say, pretty solid strike zone he called.

Congrats Jays. Umpires made every correct call.

They were really good today. They took their time with those crucial calls, but i rather them get it right than rush. The strike zone was pretty much perfect to what i saw. WOW.

Truly one of the nuttiest sporting events I've ever witnessed. Litter bugs are not cool in my books, very bush league. If I caught you doing it, you'd be cleaning up the dome post game; toilets first.

Bring on KC....(albeit houst. winning at moment)
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.

Guys... that was the CRAZIEST game I've ever been to in my life. And I've been to hundreds...

Just goes to show you can't **** with karma. Texas had it coming for that absolutely absurd run. It was raining beer at the Dome when they added that run... the crowd was literally ready to charge the field. They had to call in the Riot Police to surround the outfield and the Rangers dugout. Insane.

Anyway... I can die a happy man now.

what karma? Jays were only ones to blame for that run. In the end it didn't matter.

Is it possible that the commish told the Rangers to do that? To prvent rioting?

I agree. As dumb a rule as it is, Martin is the one that threw the ball. Thankfully, we don't see that happen very often. Not sure i've ever seen it before. It's like one of those dumb rules of golf.

Ya, no karma on that play. Maybe on Holland in game 1?

But it's a play where fairness and a beer league would have that a dead ball, but in the bigs the ball is live and it adds to the elements. I was giving praise to Odor when watching the game with my dad. He knew it could be live, and ran to home and didn't stop even when home plate ump put his hands up and said no no no no. That was just a goofy play that won't happen again, at least to Martin, and if it does happen again it won't happen with a guy on third.

Personally i think it should be a dead ball only because no one means to do it, but rules are rules and I'm glad they called the game right, and it didn't hurt us.

Yes. The commissioner of MLB called down to the dugout and told the Rangers to think of the children and throw the game away because of hundreds of jackass fans. Yeah.

Well, the Jays get KC. Should be all kinds of a fun series.

This isn't Vancouver or Montreal... Toronto is an also-ran in Canada's pantheon of sports riot cities.

Over/under on the number of bench clearing brawls throughout the TOR/KC series? Lots of animosity between these two teams.

    I'm thinking at least 3...

Congrats Jays fans. As I'm now a casual Yanks fan (been in Scotland so long, and all my favourites are gone/retired), I'm happy to see Toronto do well. It's refreshing.

    I would love a Cubs-Jays World Series.
