The AL East is infuriating to be a part of!

    As a Jays fan:
    - The Yankees can spend a billion dollars on players
    - The Sox can spend $900million while bitching about the Yankees
    - The Rays have like $3 million total, but the greatest start in history! Note: 2 losses to the Jays and 2 losses to the rest of MLB!
    - The Orioles are looking to turn a corner!

Jays are 3rd in their division and 6th overall in MLB.
Ugh, hopefully the Rays come crashing back to earth, the Orioles have some growing pains and the Yankees pitching shows some cracks

The counterpoint is that it's extra easy to hate the Yankees if you root for a team in the AL East.

I was downtown for work yesterday and a friend got me into the Dome to check things out.

Holy crap was I impressed. I absolutely love the new open areas. It will be so frigging cool when the dome is open. But these areas are exactly what I love about other stadiums. The bullpen area is pretty awesome too even though it is one in / one out. It was moving pretty quickly though but I guess it was just a mid week day game.

Last week, the Jays had the best pitching staff in baseball. This week, they have the worst. Wow.

Boston making up for that 3-15 record or whatever it was last year.

Remove Kirk as his catcher. It's awful. Change something.

Kirk can't call a game, Manoah shakes off Kirk's first suggestion constantly. Kirk calls for a high fastball vs Judge when Manoah throws 93mph... Come on. Stop this "Kirk is his catcher". Kirk isn't even hitting to offset his catching issues. And especially with Manoah, he is a guy that takes his time. He looks rushed constantly because he's trying to figure out his pitch for 10-15s every pitch.

Something needs to change because Manoah has more talent than this. If you aren't going to change something, you have Pearson and Teidermann just circling for a starting position.

Or was Judge just caught cheating....

As for Tiedemann, he's shut down right now with a bicep injury. Pretty scary stuff and wouldn't be surprised to hear the dreaded 3 words sometime soon.

I doubt he was cheating. I suspect it was either he was resetting his eyes (changing focus to reset it), or he heard the pitch comm from Kirk. If he's legit cheating, they should be having camera angles from the dugout at what he's looking at. JomBoy will def have a video on it. Judge said he was looking at the dugout as his team was yelling at the ref for a poor zone (which it was AWFUL).

But like Judge hammered 2 meatballs.

Teidermann is close to returning (week or two). I doubt he's goign to be in the conversation until later down the line but....we thought that about Manoah....

Has Vladdy hit a homerun at home yet? He better figure things out soon if the Jays are going to have any success this year.

Yepppppp their offense has been very disappointing. This stretch has been tough.

It's also difficult knowing they've barely had any injuries. Especially with what NYY and Tampa have went through....
