The Red Sox performance with that pitching staff is really not something I remotely considered coming into the year. Unbelievable.

A team ERA of 4.37 doesn't shock me for BSox. The 5.11 Runs produced is a shock to me tho.

Jays avg more runs for and less runs against than the Sox but are 9games behind, that's also a shock.

It's a tough hill to climb for the Jays right now, and I don't know if they'll make the playoffs, but the BSox are primed to be upset in the playoffs.

Brewers acquiring 1B Rowdy Tellez from Blue Jays, sources tell @TheAthletic. Return believed to include RHP Trevor Richards. Unclear if other pieces are in deal. Tellez has been in Triple A since June 22. Richards came from Rays in Adames trade.

I don't know enough about Richards to know if I like it or not. I hate losing Tellez though, I do know that.

Between Tellez and Vogekbach the Brewers have taken quite the (literal) load off the Jays roster.

Jays turned Panik (bench Bat), Tellez (AAA Bat), "nothing" prospect into Cimber, Richards, Dickerson, "nothing" prospect.

This was a REALLY good set of moves.

Cimber and Richards is under team control to like 2024. Dickerson is a better LH bat than Panik, and Gurriel showed he can play 1B enough to be the backup 1B.

Atkins is a better GM than AA. I said it.

I love Bo Bichette, but at some point, I'm wondering if they don't move him to 2B to cut down on his errors. I know, not all are throwing errors, but quite a few are. He's currently got the 2nd most errors in the bigs (surprisingly, Tatis Jr is the worst). Pitchers must dread seeing a ball hit to his area.
