That was a tough one to lose.

Without even really realizing it this division is kind of getting away from them. Boston being good is really throwing a wrench into things.

There's at least 3 games that are inexcusable losses where Montoya has gone out of his way to lose them. Turning their record into 30-22, only 2 games behind Boston.

    Tough stretch coming up.

    Marlins, Astros, CWS, RedSox, Yankees.

7 games out of the 26 games this month are vs Orioles. So gotta take 6of7 in my eyes.

Great point. Although Baltimore has lost 14 in a row so I'm sure they'll be going on a winning streak by the time they meet the Jays.

Springer - Ran bases yesterday. He'll do the same type of workouts today, likely a minor league assignment before MLB starts.
Biggio - He's DTD now, and Montoya said he could be back soon, so end of the week likely
Manoah - 2nd big league start today

So with the NHL getting a "pass" to allow hockey teams to come across the border for games, I wonder when the Jays will be allowed to play games back in Toronto.

I think with the ease of Buffalo and it already set up, and increase in seating recently...I don't know if the Jays have a big need to move yet. Jays extended their stay till August, so maybe August we'll see Jays in Toronto.

Tampa Bay has not lost a step after trading away their "ace" and they have the #1 prospect waiting in the wings. Not mention Brujan who is arguably hitting better than Franco so far.

Our playoff chances do not look great.

18 or 19 games or whatever vs Orioles left and we haven't used Springer or Pearson really. Long season.

Considering Pearson has yet to show control with his pitches in the bigs, I am not considering him a game changer for this team.

I'm not expecting much from Pearson in 2021, but maybe end of the yr maybe he comes up. He's changed his delivery a bit and that with a shoulder issue last month could have been what's messed up his accuracy.

But ya Pearson hasn't done much to show he'll be a real 2021 impact.

Of course. Just hope the breakouts can keep it up for when Springer is finally back.

I stopped watching at 2-1CWS last night, but great comeback.

Romano apparently was looking at his fingers last night, but Montoya said it was nothing. So expect an IL stint soon.

Maybe he was just confused because he stopped using Spider tack?
