I'm sure MVP bets are still available places. I think he was only 12/1 last week. But ya I'm sure it was way higher before all the preseason hype

The site I use remove the awards bets after the season starts, which is annoying.

I picked him in our MLB predictions thread.

If he stays healthy - it should be a no-brainer.

Yeppppp Roark is not good. Should at least eat innings but I wish they had another option here.

The post game interview, listening to Montoyo say "He didn't have it today", got me thinking..... When was the last time he actual "had it"???

I decided to look at Roark's stats, I decided to find his last "good game"

So, I looked at his ER for games, his last time he gave up 1 or less was Aug 19th, so I thought this was an easy investigation until I saw 9 hits! Ok not that game.

Ok his last "good game" must be low ER and low hits. Ok, September 9th he gave up 2hits, 2ER, so far so good, oh wait 2HR given up. In only 4IP. Ok not that game.

So his last game he had "IT" was July 28th. 5IP, 3H, 1ER, 5ks, 0HRs.

His last stretch of good games...August 4-22 2019!
    4GS, 24IP (6ip/g), 23h, 7er, 23ks, 3HR. 2.63ERA.

Guys game is done as a legit starter. I wouldn't be too mad if he was on a teams 40man as a guy to literally throw to the wolves if you need to get innings but not waste an arm in a blow out.

I don't mind that at all. Pretty much brings him to the end of the team control over the big 3

I'll be surprised if he makes his next start, which is scary because they are already shallow at the SP position.

Exactly. They really needed depth here.
