And Captain Loup strikes again!! Gibbons should have ran out and clotheslined him..

No pat on the backside for Loup, Gibbons snatched the ball from him..

Talk about power outage. Edwin bases loaded was their best chance at coming back. Donaldson back in the lineup tomorrow.

Thankful Boston is losing right now. 5-3 tb in the 8th

The offense has dried up, They need to win at least 4/6 on this upcoming West trip.

7 game road trip. They have their last day off on the 22nd too before being at home next weekend vs the Yankees. But they have to win both series, 3/4 and 2/3, Mariners (won 7 straight) are steamrolling back into wildcard talks, only 2.5 games back of Toronto/Baltimore.

Maybe these later games coming up will be good for the fans because most likely won’t be watching the whole thing.

Yep for sure. I just feel however that if anybody gets like a 2-3 run lead on the Jays that the game is pretty much over. The bats are very disappointing and the pitching can't seem to stop the bleeding anymore.

Nothing is going right for this team right now. It's really hard to watch.

It's also not just what happens but how it happens. I was at the game Monday night and Liriano pitched a hell of a game. But in a tough scoreless game like that, to have your team boost you a 2 run lead and then literally give it back in under 5 pitches right after? Deflating feeling. Pitching line looks great, but the timing of those two runs was brutal. Team lucked out too with Carrera hitting that PH HR. Bats are dead as can be.

Donaldson to have MRI on right hip. He'll speak to the media following todays game for the first time since his rest started.

    Doesn't look good.

Saunders is getting the same treatment Colby got when he was here. They're hoping that he'll generate some contact since he (should be) facing more fastballs.
